About Reflections
Reflections was founded in 2022 with a simple but powerful idea: be kinder to yourself.
We start every morning by looking in the mirror. In those moments, the thoughts we have about ourselves can set the tone for the rest of the day. And one day after another turns into your life. For many people, those thoughts can be critical, overwhelming, or lonely. Reflections was created to change that moment.
Our clothing is designed so that when you see yourself, the message looking back at you offers encouragement, compassion, and reassurance.
Reflections is more than words. It’s about how you feel in your body. Soft fabrics, comfortable fits, and thoughtful design create a sense of physical ease, something especially meaningful for people who get overwhelmed or are sensitive to textures. Feeling comfortable in what you wear can create space to relax, breathe, and be yourself.
Our mission is to help every customer feel better, by creating moments of relief, reminding people they are not alone in what they experience, and that healing is possible.
A Reflections piece is something you can put on when you need comfort or reassurance. It’s a small way (that can have a big impact) to feel safe, loved, and at ease.
At its heart, Reflections is also about self-connection. The messages on our clothing are meant to hold space for self-validation. A reminder that your feelings are real, your experience matters, and you are worthy of compassion.
When we learn to speak to ourselves with kindness, it becomes easier to bring that same kindness into the world around us. Everyone deserves softness, not only in the fabric they wear, but in the relationship they have with themselves.
Made with love in Peru.
About our founder
Stuck inside, isolating, and sick with Covid, Stacey found herself repeatedly looking at the mirror next to her bed and saying highly critical things that tore her down.
She realized that she was being unnecessarily mean to herself and knew many others likely dealt with this same issue. So she started to think “How can I change that for people?” and Reflections was born.
How better to change your thoughts than to put different words right in front of you, so you can’t think negatively?
Two years later, Stacey started healing. She had always thought she could fix things on her own, but going to therapy changed all of that. She learned how important it is to ask for help. She ended up discovering she had OCD, ADHD, CPTSD, and is neurodivergent.
She understands what it’s like to live with crippling anxiety and depression, to not feel balanced or ok, and also now knows that things really can get better.
It starts with your decision to change, and Stacey created Reflections to be by your side (or really on your chest), supporting you every step in your journey.
